Biography
Sarah helps hardworking Arkansans get back on their feet after their lives have been turned upside down through no fault of their own. Sarah is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Arkansas and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Sarah is a Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Star for 2018. The Arkansas Bar Association awarded Sarah the 2017-2018 Judith Ryan Gray Outstanding Young Lawyer Award and the 2017-2018 Frank C. Elcan II Leadership Award. Sarah serves as the Chair of the Arkansas Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and delegate to the Arkansas Bar Association House of Delegates and American Bar Association House of Delegates. For two years, Sarah served as an Associate Editor of TYL, a publication of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Within the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, Sarah serves on the Board of Governors, she is the Chair-Elect of the New Lawyers Network, and she is on the Publications Committee.
Sarah graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, after obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English. She represented the law school on the National Moot Court Competition Team for two years, competed as a Finalist in the law school's Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Competition, and was honored as Best Oralist in her class appellate oral argument. Sarah worked her way through law school at a well-known personal injury law firm in Fayetteville. As a Rule XV Certified Student Attorney, Sarah represented Arkansans in cases on appeal in state and federal courts. After law school, she worked for three years helping injured Arkansans as part of a large multi-state law firm.
Prior to law school, Sarah served many communities as a teacher. Sarah taught a college writing course at Texas Christian University, English Courses at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, and third grade in Northwest Arkansas. Sarah continued to teach writing in law school when she worked as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing courses at University of Arkansas School of Law.
Outside the practice of law, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and exploring hiking and biking trails across the state.
