Sarah is a fluent Spanish speaker who practices immigration law exclusively and has extensive experience working on matters involving employment based immigration, family based immigration, and removal proceedings.

Sarah is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), DC Chapter, and assists yearly with Citizenship Day in Hampton Roads. She is also a frequent guest of several Spanish language radio programs in the Hampton Roads area, providing listeners with important immigration updates and information regarding available immigration benefits. Sarah has been named a Top Lawyer for Coastal Virginia Magazine and CoVaBIZ for the field of immigration law for multiple years counting.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Sarah was a resident of Peru for several years. Sarah earned her B.A. in Anthropology and Archaeology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2016.  

During her time in law school, Sarah was a member of the Immigration Law and Justice Society and spent over two years working at her university’s Immigration Clinic, where she was recognized for her pro bono work and awarded the Graduation Award for Outstanding Clinic Intern. 

Sarah is a member of the Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
