Biography
As a Senior Associate at the Federal Practice Group, Sarah concentrates her practice in federal employment and labor law, including claims of age, gender, race, disability, national origin, and color discrimination, failure to accommodate, hostile work environment harassment and sexual harassment, and retaliation.
Prior to joining the Federal Practice Group, Sarah served as an associate and a law clerk for two federal employment law firms in Washington, D.C. There she represented federal managers, employees, and contractors litigating Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) complaints and U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) appeals, facing adverse and/or disciplinary actions, and during all stages of the security clearance process. Additionally, she has valuable experience in representing clients during alternative dispute resolution, mediation, and settlement conferences.
Sarah received her juris doctorate from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. While pursuing her law degree, she represented local residents as a D.C.-certified student-attorney before the D.C. Superior Court in family law matters. Sarah was also a member and editor of the Health Law and Policy Journal during her law school career.
Sarah holds a bachelor of science in Economics from Drexel University where she graduated magna cum laude. She is barred in both Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., and she is an active member in the American Bar Association.
