An almost life-long resident of Kansas, Sarah Carmody left shortly to earn her bachelor's degree at Ball State University in 2003.  She realized she wanted to move back home and attended law school at UMKC, graduating in 2008.  While in law school she was president of the Midwestern Innocence Project Student Organization and received the Latshaw Award for excellence in criminal justice. She also received the Teira Farrow Award from the Association of Women Law Students.  Since graduating, Sarah has found a passion for family law. Sarah was raised by a single mother and is now a mother herself. She is committed to a smooth transition for children during the difficult process of divorce or other custody disputes.  Sarah is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri and practices extensively in both she is not working, Sarah enjoys playing with her two children and trying new restaurants with her husband.
