Sarah N. Gloates Horta graduated The Pennsylvania State University - College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor of Science in Crime, Law, and Justice. Ms. Gloates Horta received her Juris Doctorate degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. 

Ms. Gloates Horta is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey. In addition, she is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is involved in the Young Lawyers Section and the Women Lawyers in Bergen. Ms. Gloates Horta currently sits on the Board of the Young Lawyers Section and serves as its President. 

Before entering private practice, Ms. Gloates Horta served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Bonnie J. Mizdol, A.J.S.C. in Bergen County, while Judge Mizdol was presiding over the Family Division. 

Ms. Gloates Horta's primary area of focus is Family Law.
