Scott was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, graduated from Emory University and received his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School.  He is a member of  the United States Supreme Court, The Northern District of Georgia, Supreme Court of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia State Bar.   He is actively involved in the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.  In his career he has won/settled millions of dollars for clients through settlement and trial.  His areas of legal expertise include personal injury, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, trucking litigation and  wrongful death.
