Sean McQuaid is the St. Petersburg Bar Association President-Elect for 2020, which is an organization of 1,200 lawyers and judges in the Tampa Bay area. St. Petersburg Personal Injury Attorneys McQuaid & Douglas is a division of Battaglia, Ross, Dicus & McQuaid, P.A. with its primary focus on car accidents, motorcycle accidents and personal injury law.

Mr. McQuaid has been routinely recognized for his legal accomplishments and has been awarded numerous accolades. Mr. McQuaid is a member of the Florida Bar,the Bar of the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the St.Petersburg Bar Association.

In August 2010, Governor Charlie Crist appointed Mr. McQuaid to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. The Commission is responsible for recommending judicial appointments to the Governor in Pinellas and Pasco counties and he served in this capacity for almost 5 years. Mr. McQuaid served on the City of St. Petersburg Nuisance Abatement Board and was elected Chairman for 2014 and 2016. Mr.McQuaid also served on the Executive Committee of the Suncoast Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was the President of the Harbor Isle Homeowners' Association for 10 years and is still on the Board, is a member of the St. Petersburg Sports Alliance and remains extremely active in the Community.

Mr. McQuaid has been a resident of St. Petersburg since August of 1997 when he began his legal studies at Stetson University College of Law. During law school he was a member of the Moot Court Board from 1998 through 2000. He joined the firm in August of 2000.

While at Princeton University, Mr.McQuaid was a four (4) year varsity letterman, captain of the Princeton Baseball Team and a member of Kappa Alpha Order.
