Biography
Shannon M. Ragonesi is a shareholder and litigation specialist with Keating, Bucklin & McCormack, Inc., P.S. She defends governmental agencies, school districts and private businesses and employers. Her practice focuses on civil rights litigation, including police liability and employment discrimination, personnel claims involving disciplinary actions and termination of employees, disability accommodation, negligent hiring, retention and supervision, and wrongful death and personal injury cases. She is also actively involved in appellate practice before the state court of appeals and supreme court. She has successfully worked for years investigating and resolving potential claims before litigation is initiated, and providing guidance on litigation avoidance strategies.
Prior to joining Keating, Bucklin & McCormack, Inc., P.S., Ms. Ragonesi was a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp where she worked as a Senior Prosecuting Attorney, a Senior Torts Attorney and a Military Magistrate. She received her J.D. degree from New York Law School and her B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
