Biography
Ms. Friedman joined Williams Cedar as their newest associate immediatley after graduating from Rutgers Law School with honors in May 2017. During law school, she received the Deans Academic Excellence Award, the Rutgers Alumni Scholarship, and the Deborah Michael Richards Memorial Family Law Scholarship. Due to her remarkable research and writing skills, Ms. Friedman was also selected to serve as a legal research and writing teaching assistant for first-year law students.
Before joining Williams Cedar as an associate, she worked as a paralegal for the Cedar Law Firm and was an integral part of the firm’s daily operations. She worked closely with attorneys assisting in the Paulsboro, NJ train derailment litigation representing over 1,800 residents and first responders affected by a vinyl chloride chemical spill. She also assisted in several other high profile cases within that firm.
Prior to her work as a paralegal, she worked assisting claimants obtain social security disability benefits and also assisted at a criminal defense law firm in South Jersey.
Ms. Friedman graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice (summa cum laude) and a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience. She also received her Master’s Degree from Stockton University in Criminal Justice (summa cum laude) with a concentration in Forensic Psychology.
