Shauna Martin joined Martin Law, LLC as a partner after eight years as a defense attorney.  She focuses her practice on representing individuals and their families who have been injured due to the negligence of others.  Her practice areas include medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and neglect, premises liability, products liability and motor vehicle accidents.  

Shauna graduated from Loyola University of Chicago Law School with honors. During her time at Loyola, she clerked at one of the city’s premier plaintiff’s personal injury law firms and for Honorable William D. Maddux, former chief judge of the Law Division in Cook County. This unique experience handling cases from both the plaintiff and defense sides gives her a dual perspective and a deeper understanding of legal matters in her practice at Martin Law, LLC. Shauna’s distinctive ability to thoroughly analyze cases has led to the most favorable resolutions for each of her clients.

Shauna has been named a Top Attorney in Illinois Rising Stars since 2017. She is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Shauna was born and raised in Illinois, where she currently resides with her family.
