Education and Licensure

Attorney Stephanie Messer began her postsecondary education at the University of Memphis, where she studied sociology. She graduated from this institution in 1994. After earning her Batchelor’s and Master’s degrees, she went on to study law at the University Of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School Of Law. She graduated from law school with her Juris Doctor in 2000. Attorney Messer became licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee during the following year.

Professional History

Stephanie Messer founded the Law Office of Stephanie Messer in 2004. She continues to maintain this practice today. Attorney Messer also served as Judicial Commissioner for the Metropolitan Davidson County General Sessions Court from 2007 to 2010. In addition, Attorney Messer served as a Hearings and Appeals Attorney for the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services during 2012 and 2013. Today, however, she focuses most of her time on private practice.
