I am Stephanie J. Hill, the founding member and managing partner of Hill Crabb Law firm. I grew up in small-town Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. After graduating high school, I went on to obtain my bachelor's degree in American Law and Legal Systems from Hamline University in Saint Paul, and then my law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.

Prior to attending law school, I was introduced to the court system as a party in a family law matter. After nearly two years of litigation, five days of trial and more than $50,000 in legal expenses, I prevailed. I became an attorney to help others who face divorce and related family law issues.

No one understands the stakes better than someone who has stood in your shoes and knows firsthand what you stand to lose. I will approach your case with a fierce advocacy and understanding compassion. In my personal and professional experience in the family law system I have learned that what clients want is a strong advocate who is a responsive and empathetic listener. For that reason I make myself available to clients beyond normal business hours to ensure their concerns are promptly addressed and their needs met.
