Biography
Stephanie M. Chaissan is an associate in Fowler White Burnett’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group where she represents both plaintiffs and defendants in general commercial litigation actions in state and federal court. She has experience in litigation arising out of shareholder disputes, breach of contract, breach of warranty, breach of fiduciary duty, officer and director liability, landlord/tenant, and business disputes.
Stephanie also has experience in securities arbitration, and in representing condominium and home owners associations, real estate developers and individuals in a broad range of matters, including contractual disputes, business torts, and construction defects.
She received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University Of Miami School Of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in criminal justice from the University of Delaware. Stephanie served as an Articles and Comments Editor on the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review and received the Deans Merit Scholarship in 2007-2008.
