Stephen A. Shechtel is admitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Courtof Appeals, U.S. District Court for the Districts of Maryland and District of Columbia, the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Shechtel graduated from the District of Columbia School of Law, magna cum laude (third in class) in ived several law school awards including "Most Prepared" and Law Review. 

Mr. Shechtel was a Maryland Certified Public Accountant, and has held licenses as a: NASD Securities Dealer (Series 7 & 63), Mortgage Banker-Broker (Principal's license: FL, AZ, NJ); Certified Mortgage Loan Underwriter (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA); Licensed Maryland Real Estate Sales Agent, State of Florida Health and Life Insurance Agent, and has completed trianing as a Certified Financial Planner, USCG Licensed Captain, and private pilot.  

Mr. Shechtel has received special training to represent Children (Best Interests Attorney for children), children in cases involving domestic violence and children of sexual abuse, International Family Law, International Custody disputes, representing Juvenile's and Children In Need of Assistance (CINA).  

Due to his education as a CPA, Mr. Shechtel has enjoyed a sucessful carrer in: bankruptcy law, Estate Planning, Asset Protection, and Probate.
