Steven J. Weinberg is the founder of Weinberg Law. As a criminal defense attorney in Chicago for over 27 years, Weinberg has been consistently recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also five star pre-eminent AV rated by Martinadale-Hubbel, the highest rating available.  During law school Weinberg realized that he was most passionate working on criminal defense cases. With this in mind, Weinberg began an externshio while still a law student with the Honorable Judge Charles P. Kocorras Federal District Judge Federal Court in the Northern District of Illinois. Weinberg observed trials and hearings. He performed research and assisted with drafting legal opinions and memoranda.  He also worked for esteemed law professor and criminal defense attorney, Richard Kling assisiting with trial preparation on complex criminal defense litigation. After graduating from law school, Weinberg started Weinberg Law Office and has been providing his criminal clients with experieince when it matters most in their times of need.

He is an avid motorcyclist and snowboarder.
