Steve Greenwood began the practice of law in 1979 and has been both in-house and independent legal counsel to several Southern California-based organizations in the areas of real estate, entertainment, franchising and general business/corporate law. In 1994, Steve joined Cigna Financial Advisors (now Sagemark Consulting), adding a financial and estate planning dimension to his career. His current law practice is focused on basic to advanced estate planning, business succession planning, asset protection, and trust administration. 

Steve is an accomplished author, lecturer and provider of continuing education to the insurance and accounting industries.  In addition, he speaks on behalf of the California State Bar on the subject of financial elder abuse. His community activities include Past President, Oxnard Jaycees; Past Board Member of Oxnard Optimists, Casa Pacifica and the Executives; he is currently a member of the Jewish Home for the Aging Board of Advisors; and member of the Teardrop Garage Rock Band.

Steve has served on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County board since 2004. He is committed to the future of this country, which is embodied in our youth. He also believes that BBBS is the most efficient provider of youth services that he has seen. Steve is married and the proud father of three children.
