Biography

A native of Racine, Wisconsin, Steven R. McDonald served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He received his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, and began practicing bankruptcy law in 2000.

Steve started The Law Office of Steven R. McDonald, LLC in 2004 dedicating his practice to assisting people through the bankruptcy process. Since 2005, he has been appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice to serve as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Steve also is a frequent speaker at bankruptcy seminars and events.
