Steve is third generation Colorado native and received his bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Colorado Masters Program and his juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Before attending law school he taught English at Skyline High School in Longmont for 11 years.  Since graduation from law school he has practiced law for more than 20 years and has focused on estate planning, asset protection planning, business planning and special needs planning for the past fifteen years.

He is a member of the Esperti Peterson Insitute for Advanced Estate Planning and WealthCounsel and is the author of the authoritative book on estate planning: Your Legacy, Meaningful Estate Planning.

He practices in Arizona and throughout Colorado, but lives here in Greenwood Village with his family.
