Steve focuses his practice on helping families with young children protect their children and their wealth through estate planning. Wedeking Law allows Steve the opportunity to be a work-from-home-dad and continue to serve clients, both virtually and by appointment.

Steve, his wife Jamie, and their three kids live in East County (San Diego) and are active members of the Lakeside campus of Skyline Church. In their spare time, they travel and head to the mountains and the desert in their early broncos to go off-roading with their friends.

Steve earned his law degree from the University of San Diego in 2004 where he received top score in Civil Procedure and Honors is Evidence Advocacy and Lawyering Skills I. While in law school, Steve clerked for the Office of General Counsel of the Department of the Navy. Steve also served on the San Diego Law Review, was a recipient of the Academic Achievement Scholarship and, with Anthony Thompson as his partner, won Best Team in the 2004 ATLA Intramural Mock Trial Competition. Upon graduation, Steve was presented with the 2004 International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Excellence in Advocacy and Procedure.

Steve lives in San Diego.
