I have substantial experience handling complex asset division, pension issues and spousal maintenance matters for both men and women. The majority of my cases involve complex asset division, pension and employment-related asset division, and related issues.  I have experience handling the division of farming interests in divorce.  My experience teaches me that the most successful outcomes are a product of impeccable preparation coupled with a genuine rapport between attorney and client.  I value the partnership I have with my clients as we work through each legal challenge the case may present.

In addition to my focus on property division cases, I also handle child custody, visitation and interstate child removal cases. I  have experience in dealing with mental health issues, professional evaluators, and emotional and physical abuse of children and spouses.

I have written appellate briefs and have argued cases before the Illinois Appellate Courts for both the Third and Fourth Districts while representing clients in the appellate process.
