Tamie practices primarily in family law, with an emphasis in Collaborative Law. This includes the areas of dissolution and paternity; pre- and post-nuptial agreements; children’s issues such as child support, custody, college support and adoption; and grandparent rights and guardianships. Other attorneys hire her as a Guardian Ad Litem, Parenting Coordinator, Mediator and Arbitrator. As an experienced Collaborative Law attorney Tamie believes that court is not the proper venue for family law cases. As such, she is giving her litigation cases to her partner and as of 2019 has determined that she will not litigate any cases but all clients will be given the opportunity to engage in the Collaborative Law process.
