Tammy Dentinger focuses her practice on the representation of clients in complex divorce cases. In handling all aspects of divorce and adoption cases, she recognizes that complex cases often require valuation of businesses, professional practices, and other significant assets and can have significant issues relating to spousal and child support, as well.

In addition, Ms. Dentinger handles complex and difficult custody cases. While she focuses on mediation, negotiation, and arbitration as the most effective ways to serve the best interests of children in custody cases - and holds a Certificate in Dispute Resolution - Ms. Dentinger understands that on some occasions the best solution is to aggressively advocate for the client at trial.

Ms. Dentinger has been recognized for her skill in divorce matters with the award of a fellowship in the American Academy of Matrimonial Layers. She is past chair of the Family Law section of the Oregon State Bar, which includes over 1,000 family law lawyers throughout the state of Oregon. In addition, she has served on the Oregon State Board of Bar Examiners, and is a past president of the Marion County Bar Association.

Ms. Dentinger joined the firm as an associate in 1994, became a shareholder in 1999, and has served as the head of the Domestic Relations Practice Section of the firm since 2004.
