When she was a young girl, Tara Arnold watched her mother advocate on behalf of the victims of crime. Witnessing advocacy in action, she knew early on that she wanted to become an attorney. Her relentless commitment to excellence in pursuit of that goal resulted in her graduating valedictorian in her high school graduating class, summa cum laude in college, and magna cum laude at Tulane Law School.

After law school, Tara worked for a prominent New York-based law firm that handled complex commercial litigation, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as business deals worth billions of dollars. Her work there ended up being perfect preparation for her role at Arnold & Itkin. In addition to successfully representing plaintiffs in complex business disputes, she is proud to advocate for the victims of offshore disasters. As a Louisiana native, she grew up with numerous family and friends who worked offshore. Their safety and well-being are what drives her to protect the victims of at-sea accidents fiercely.

Tara currently lives in Houston with her husband Kurt, where she serves on the Board of Directors for St. Paul’s Methodist Church Foundation as well as with other community organizations.
