Biography

Tara L. Goodwin is a member of Edelman, Combs, Latturner & Goodwin, LLC, a consumer protection law firm in Chicago, Illinois. She has practiced consumer law since 1991. She has handled class and individual cases under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Rreporting Act, Truth in Lending Act, Illinois Consumer Fraud Act and local and state landlord tenant laws. She represents consumers in disputes with the national credit bureaus involving errors on credit reports, and homeowners having disputes with their mortgage companies. She also handles numerous other types of consumer protection cases.
