Taurus Bailey is a Memphis attorney and graduate of the University of Tennessee. He has clerked with the State of Tennessee Attorney General, and worked as case examiner in lawsuits against the state of Tennessee under $25,000 for the State of Tennessee Department of Treasury. 

Attorney Bailey has also worked as plaintiff's counsel in personal injury with his father, Walter Bailey of the Walter Bailey Law Firm, and tried cases involving wrongful death in state and federal court. He is also an experienced adoption, divorce and child custody attorney.

Taurus Bailey worked part-time with the Shelby County Public Defender for over 13 years, and has maintained a private criminal defense practice for over 10 years with an emphasis in criminal trial practice. He is currently a part-time staff attorney handling civil litigation on behalf of the City of Memphis, and also represents plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits.
