Biography
Taylor Ann Cruse graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance. After graduating from A&M, Taylor moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked for a Congressman; focusing on policy issues regarding the Affordable Care Act, foreign affairs, agriculture and food supply.
Upon returning home to Texas, Taylor decided to further her education with the study of law and graduated cum laude, from South Texas College of Law. While at South Texas College of Law, she held elected positions as President (2017-2016) and Treasurer (2016-2015) of the law school’s legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi. She participated in the Immigration and Domestic Violence Clinics as a Student Attorney, assisting with the representation of low-income residents of Harris County. She was also an active member in the Aggie Law Students Association and participated in mock trial.
After graduating from South Texas College of Law, Taylor obtained her Tax LL.M. from the University of Houston Law Center. During her LL.M. program, she worked for a non-profit organization where she aided in the representation of individuals in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), including audits, appeals, collection matters, and federal tax litigation.
