I am a board-certified family law attorney here to listen to your story and help you navigate the legal system to get the best outcome possible.

I was born in a small town in East Texas called Nacogdoches. When I was three years old, my dad adopted me, which began a lifelong interest in and passion for the adoption process and family law. I started dancing at the age of 5, and for the next eighteen years, I traveled the nation competing and training in dance. While in high school (Freshman Spanish class, to be exact), I met the love of my life who became my husband almost 10 years later.  I graduated from Nacogdoches High School at the age of 17 in the top 1% of my class.

Next, I attended Baylor University on the Presidential Scholarship, which is awarded for exceptional GPA and ACT scores. While there, I majored in History and minored in Religion, was a member of the "Baylor Songleaders" dance team, and was involved in numerous academic honor societies. I graduated from Baylor summa cum laude at the age of 20.

Baylor Law offered me a full-tuition scholarship to attend, so I began my legal education in the Fall of 2009 at the best law school in Texas for litigation training. While at Baylor Law, I was 2L Secretary and Executive Vice- President of the Student Bar Association, and I clerked for Judge Walter Smith and the Office of the General Counsel for the Department of Veterans' Affairs. I graduated from Baylor Law at the age of 23 in the top 30% of my class, and I passed the Texas Bar Exam a few months later.

I have now turned my passion for adoption and family law into a career, and I hope to have the chance to work with you soon!
