General Practice & Workers' Compensation
Biography
I practice in the areas of general civil litigation, governmental/municipal liability, and workers’ compensation.
Specifically, I defend governmental entities and employers in all claims, including personal injury; property damage; Title VII race, gender, retaliation, and religious discrimination; 42 U.S .C. § 1981; 42 U.S.C § 1983 (claims brought under the 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th, and 14th Amendments to the United States Constitution); the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”); the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”); and the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), along with various state law tort claims and claims of state constitutional deprivation.
Within workers’ compensation law, I provide human resource managers, safety directors, claims adjusters, and third-party administrators with the tools and know-how to close claims efficiently and swiftly and, above all, minimize exposure.
I also have significant experience in general civil litigation, having represented companies and insurers across Georgia in commercial disputes, personal injury and product liability claims, coverage disputes, and claims under uninsured motorist policies.
