Biography

I practice in the area of real estate litigation, construction litigation and general commercial litigation. My particular areas of expertise include easement and boundary line disputes, construction contracts, mechanic’s liens, and subdivision and condominium litigation. I regularly help clients with business formation relating to real estate and the construction industry. I handle all levels of conflict resolution and have experience in administrative, judicial, and transactional settings.

I am a member of the Real Property Section of Idaho State Bar, the Idaho Women Lawyers, and I am an approved real estate instructor for the Idaho Real Estate Commission, Lorman Education Services, Idaho Land Title Association and National Business Institute.

In addition to my law practice, I volunteer time to represent Court-Appointed Guardians Ad Litem in child protective services cases for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). I am a strong advocate for children and their Guardians Ad Litem. In 2009, I received the Denise O’Donnell Day Pro Bono Award from the Idaho State Bar for my dedication to Family Advocates.

In 2010, I was selected as one of Boise’s Accomplished Under 40 recipients through the Idaho Business Review. In 2011, I was selected as one of Idaho Business Review's Women of the Year. I particiapted in Leadership Boise for the 2011 through 2013 class, sponsored by the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce. In 2013 I was honored with the Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Award from the Boise Women and Children’s Alliance.

I love the outdoors, travel, and spending time with my husband, Mark and my two children, Maya and Parker.
