Biography

I spent my first 15 years as a trial lawyer specializing in general, commerial and insurance defense litigation in the botique litigation firm of Hickey, McHugh & Garlick of Rchester, N.Y. I moved to Florida in 1981 and established a branch office in Naples, Florida for the upstate New York Regional law firm of Harter, Secrest & Emery where I was Partner-In-Charge through 1996. I subsequenbtly formed my own firm which became Garlick, Hilfiker & Swift, where I continue my general business, corporate, real estate and litigation its Managing Partner.
