Biography
Tom French, an attorney in Kightlinger & Gray’s New Albany office, focuses his practice on civil litigation, including disputes related to employment, insurance, fair debt, and civil rights.
Tom joined Kightlinger & Gray after attending Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While in law school, he clerked in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas for the Honorable Beth A. Myers and was a Research Assistant to Professors Mark D. Janis and Jason Du Mont. In his last year of law school, Tom spent three months in Washington, D.C. working in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of the Assistant General Counsel for Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property.
Before going to law school, Tom worked in technology sales in Chicago and graduated from Miami University with a dual degree in History and Latin American Studies.
