I was born and raised in the small town of Plattsburg, Missouri, about 30 miles north of Kansas City. My father, Paul T. Luckenbill, was the first medical doctor to establish a practice in Clinton County, Missouri, making house calls and delivering about 50 babies a year for many years. It was from Dr. Luckenbill's example that I learned several life lessons, including the value of hard work, a strong work ethic, and a deep desire to be an indeprendent business owner.

In 1983, I received my B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. I continued my education at the Univeristy of Missouri by receiving my M.B.A with an emphasis in Finance. Finally, I received my J.D. in 1987 from the University of Missouri School of Law.

I am currently an attorney at Law & Investment Advisor at the Luckenbill Law Firm, LLC in Columbia, MO. I also facilitate courses in Economics and Finance with William Woods University, University of Missouri and Columbia College.
