Tom Cella’s practice is concentrated in the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury litigation, although he has represented parties in other types of litigation including real estate disputes, will contests, construction matters, etc.   A large percentage of his litigation caseload comes from referrals from other attorneys.

Since 1997, he has been has been certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial lawyer and has tried over 50 cases to verdict or judgment. He has received the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell.  In 2006 and 2007, Mr. Cella was designated as a Connecticut Superlawyer.  

Mr. Cella is fequently called upon to mediate or arbitrate civil disputes.
