Tia Smith is the founding member of Tia Smith Law (formally Daniels & Smith, LLC). Her area of expertise focuses on business and family immigration and civil litigation.  Tia's thorough and focused analysis of each stage of the legal spectrum, and valuable insight into difficult multifaceted matters and complex cases has resulted in solid client relationships and superior work product, qualities that serve as the bedrock of Tia Smith Law.

Tia's immigration practice focuses on a variety of employment based and family based matters. She has extensive experience representing large corporations including domestic and international companies in the various fields of education, engineering, information technology, and international religious organizations. She works hand in hand with clients ensuring that global mobility and expansion objectives are compliant with federal immigration regulations.  Tia also successfully represents individuals in federal proceedings in front of the U.S. Department of Labor, Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Board of Immigration Appeals.

In addition to her immigration practice, Tia provides day to day counsel to clients regarding their estate planning needs.
