He served as both trial and appellate counsel on the groundbreaking Pennsylvania Insurance Bad Faith case of Hollock v Erie, 2004 Pa. Super. 13, 842 A.2d 409 (2004)(en banc). The case helped establish the obligation of insurance companies to treat their customers fairly when making a claim.  

Among other honors, Timothy Lenahan has been a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate since 1988, a designation held by fewer than 4% of practicing attorneys. The National Board of Trial Advocacy has also certified him as a Certified Pretrial Advocate since 2012.
