Timothy Kingcade has a wealth of litigation experience in the field of bankruptcy law.  His practice focuses exclusively in the area of bankruptcy law, handling Chapter 7 filings and foreclosure defense cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Timothy Kingcade began his legal career as a law clerk for the Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge in Tampa, Florida.   He received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, in Gulfport Florida, where he graduated Cum Laude.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, where he graduated Cum Laude, with a double major in Accounting and Finance. 

In 1996, Timothy Kingcade started Kingcade & Garcia, P.A., in Miami.  Today, he and his firm handle over a thousand bankruptcy filings each year.   Timothy Kingcade’s vast experience and expertise in the field of bankruptcy law allow him to know what bankruptcy trustees in the Southern District of Florida are looking for, preventing his clients from some of the pitfalls that can lead to the denial or dismissal of a bankruptcy case.

To compliment Timothy Kingcade’s extensive experience in the field of bankruptcy law, he is also a certified public accountant (CPA), which provides him with a unique understanding of how to handle tax-motivated bankruptcy cases against the IRS.
