I have practiced criminal defense law in municipal, state and federal courts since 1984 when I started practicing law. I spent 2 years as a prosecutor in the Mobile County D.A.'s office in 1989 -1990 prosecuting all levels of offenses (from writing bad checks to murder). I have defended all levels of offenses during my years in private practice (from writing bad checks to murder). i understand the legal system, i know the prosecutors and the judges.

     My main motto is "Find A Way To Win, Not A Reason To Lose." Every case has a win, but not all wins are identical. Of course we want to be acquitted, and that certainly is a a win. In other cases, a win is a reduced or minimal sentence, or Good Behavior, or some other alternative disposition. Each case is unique with its facts, law and circumstances.
