Todd is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri. He is located in Lee's Summit, Missouri and is practicing in the areas of real estate, land use, administrative law, public entity representation, private development and construction. 

Before moving to the Kansas City area to practice law, Todd practiced in south-central Kansas. During his tenure in south-central Kansas Todd was an assistant city attorney as well as represented defendants in multiple district courts. This position provided Todd extensive exposure to negotiating plea agreements with opposing counsel and prosecuting cases to trial. Todd has represented clients who were charged with a wide range of misdemeanors, including driving while suspended, driving under the influence, driving as a habitual violator, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, domestic battery, and various traffic offenses. Aside from his criminal defense Todd also spent significant time advocating for children as their guardian ad litem during child in need of care proceedings.

Originally from southeast Kansas, Todd earned his Bachelors’ Degree in Crime and Delinquency Studies from Emporia State University and then earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, Todd interned with three Mississippi Circuit Court Judges as well as the Third Circuit Drug Court program. When he is not at the office, Todd enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on the family beef cattle farm, fitness, and attending various sporting events.
