Mr. Gers obtained his legal education from Washington University, in St. Louis Missouri. Once obtaining membership in both the Michigan and Illinois Bar, Mr. Gers gained experience through his extensive work in several of the largest, most prestigious law firms in Southeastern Michigan.  Mr. Gers has experience in general corporate, contract drafting and negotiation, secured and non-secured financing, loan work-outs, corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and business law. Additionally, Mr. Gers has an extensive background representing lenders and secured creditors in distressed real estate matters, non-judicial forbearance, workout and composition arrangements, and bankruptcy proceedings.
