Tomiko Ballard has the experience and determination to assist you with your family law case.  In addition to her 22 years of trial experience in family and criminal law, she is a certified family law mediator and Guardian ad Litem.  Tomiko can help you with your family law issues whether it involves divorce, domestic violence, obtaining an order of protection, collection of child support, a visitation dispute, or relocation of a child to another state.  

Tomiko represents an equal amount of mother's and father's to stay abreast of the winning arguments for both sides.  Going through a family law case can be very stressful therefore Tomiko prides herself in keeping the client abreast of the current events in the litigation, educating the client about the current state of the law, minimizing court appearances for working parents, and returning calls in a timely manner.   Tomiko has compassion for her clients and realizes that it is not a file but actual people who have to live with the court's rulings.

Tomiko's office is located in downtown Rockford, Illinois.  In addition to Winnebago County, Tomiko practices family law in Winnebago, Ogle, Boone, Stephenson, and Dekalb counties.
