I was born and raised in Oregon and graduated from South Salem High. After high school, I moved to Salt Lake City, Ut where I graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. I enjoy travelling and decided St. Thomas School of Law, in Miami, Fl was the right place. I graduated with my Juris Doctorate in 2009.

After moving back to Oregon, I passed the bar in 2009. I began working at the Marion County District Attorney's Office. While there, I prosecuted a wide range of felony and misdemeanor cases including theft, burglary, DUII, traffic violations, prostitution, resisting arrest, assault, harassment, and drug crimes. Now in private practice, I now use my experience from criminal defense to benifit those even after their case into post-conviction relief.
