Trevor J. Avery is a partner and leading criminal defense attorney at Welch and Avery in Jacksonville, NC. Having been born and spent much of his life in Onslow County, Mr. Avery has a wide network of professional contacts in health, academic, and construction industries that often serve as expert witnesses or valuable information resources for his legal work. In addition to criminal defense, Mr. Avery also practices family law and serves as a parent and guardian Ad Litem attorney in DSS court. He has represented many clients during divorce, separation, and child custody cases. He has also been called on to resolve landlord/tenant disputes and consumer affair matters.
