Attorney Barhorst grew up in Celina, Ohio and moved to Connecticut in 2000. Prior to joining The Carrano Law Firm, LLC in 2012, Attorney Barhorst practiced in Fairfield County where he litigated individual and commercial cases involving personal injuries and property losses. Throughout his career, Attorney Barhorst has frequently handled cases arising out of construction/worksite accidents, motorcycle and motor vehicle collisions, injuries caused by defective products, and slip and falls. Attorney Barhorst is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to attorneys who have obtained a recovery on behalf of a client in excess of one million dollars. 

Mr. Barhorst obtained his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003 and his B.S. from Eastern Michigan University in 1999. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut; the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut; and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court.
