Biography
Wajih Choudhury has a variety of experiences in the legal arena by aiding local attorneys and clients. He has examined and edited company and operating agreements. In 2024, he also reviewed several non-disclosure agreements for a client’s manufacturing partners and potential private equity partners. In 2023, he gave advice to minimize income taxes from investment windfalls. He also completed four courses in estate planning through Boston University School of Law. As a law clerk, he primarily worked in litigation, helping 17 businesses by drafting motions, settlements, and letters.
Wajih graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in December 2021. Wajih focused his studies in business, contracts, consumer transactions, insurance, and tax law. He earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grades in a Corporate Transaction Skills course and a Corporate Finance Law course. He also joined the Texas Corporate Counsel Review in Sep. 2020 as an Associate Editor, and was promoted to Managing Editor for the Fall 2021 Semester.
Wajih Choudhury formed a law firm to help businesses and individuals with everyday problems and transactions. He understands business owners need legal services for both their businesses and for their personal matters. He also appreciates that individuals need legal advice for their personal involvements involving insurance disputes, real estate interests, wealth, and end of life wishes.
Since 2012, Wajih has worked in global oil pricing as an analyst and financial engineer in Houston. He has helped traders, analysts, risk management personnel, and executives in the finance and energy industries meet their oil pricing data needs. He resided in Jersey City for a year in sum in 2014 and in 2010, when he began his career advising high net worth clients as a fixed income broker in New York City. During college, he worked part-time in fundraising, food service, and housing.
In the 2010’s, he had personal experiences involving family law, immigration law, consumer law, insurance law, real estate law, and securities law. These legal situations impacted him significantly, employing many hours of his time researching issues, eventually having to speak to multiple attorneys to resolve legal issues. So, Wajih attended law school with the intention of starting his own legal business to help individuals and businesses with their everyday legal issues and to guide them through complex situations. He believes one’s hard-earned money, property, and investments should be protected during and after life with a carefully tailored and up-to-date estate plan.
