Walter Smith is a native Atlantan and has lived in and around the metro area for the majority of his life.  Walter attended High School at Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia and college at the University of Kentucky. While at U.K., Walter received many awards and honors including being named to the Dean’s List four times and being a three- time academic excellence scholar.  Walter graduated from U.K. with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and History. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Georgia - School of Law where he was a Knox Memorial Scholar.  While at UGA, Walter clerked for a number of law firms including Daughtery, Crawford & Brown, and Aitkens & Aitkens.
