Represented both institutional lenders and borrowers in all aspects of the mortgage banking industry and residential foreclosures for over 20 years. With experience as a bank attorney prosecuting foreclosure, Wendy understands the banks’ strategies and thinks outside the box for creative solutions. Fought the banks during the mortgage foreclosure crisis in 2008 and has a wealth of experience in understanding the problems and opportunities faced by homeowners. Guides foreclosure defense clients through the legal process while educating them about their options and reducing their anxiety of the unknown.

CONSUMER BANKRUPTY EXPERIENCE

Represented large banks as creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Consumer Cases. Filed numerous Objections to Plan, Proofs of Claims, Motion for Relief from Stay and Adversary Proceedings. Handled evidentiary hearings regarding Proofs of Claim, Chapter 13 Plan Feasibility and Attorneys’ Fees.
Filed hundreds of Chapter 7 consumer cases leading to discharge in EDNY, SDNY and CT. Filed over 200 Chapter 13 consumer cases leading to confirmed plans and discharge. Filed numerous Objections to Claims, Motions to Avoid Liens, Cramdown Motions, Motions appointing Real Estate Agent, Motion for Approval of Sale. Handled numerous loan modifications through the EDNY and SDNY Loss Mitigation Procedures resulting in Permanent Loan Modifications.
