Biography
As a civil litigator, I primarily handle civil cases and civil appeals involving insurance defense, corporate law and construction law. Additionally, I practice in the area of family law, handling cases involving matters of divorce, child custody, child support and domestic crime.
I also represent individuals in district court and municipal court who are making one-time court appearances or who have been charged with minor criminal offenses, such as speeding and other traffic violations, drug possession, minor in possession (MIP) and driving under the influence (DUI).
My clients include insurance companies, corporations, construction companies, small businesses, families and individuals.
I'm Chairman of my firm’s Recruiting & Development Committee and am actively engaged in meeting with and interviewing prospective attorneys for the firm.
I'm a native of Montgomery and am active in the professional community. I'm also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery and the attorney for Easter Seals of Alabama, and I'm involved with the Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, I'm a member of the Church of the Ascension.
In law school, I served on the Cumberland Law Review, was a member of the Trial Board and was the winner of the Haley Trial Competition.
