I have been practicing for 38 years, graduated from University of Georgia undergrad and law school, and have served as a full time criminal and civil law judge for 12 years, a full time Chief Assistant District Attorney for 12 years, and a full time criminal defense and family law trial attorney for 13 years. I have two grown daughters, one grandchild, two stepdaughters, and a beautiful Latina wife who is a Spanish interpreter. I love to run for exercise, read books, watch television, and go to the movies once a week. I have two dogs and a cat. I pride myself in making myself accessible to my clients, responding quickly to their inquiries, and giving my all to their legal representation. I have handled tens of thousands of criminal and civil cases and have tried hundreds of jury trials, I am not intimidated by any attorney as I think my experience and ability matches up well against the best. I have handled appellate work in the Georgia Supreme Court and Georga Court of Appeals, arguing before both courts. I have handled death penalty cases, drug cases, aggravated assault cases, kidnapping cases, burglaries, rape, child molestation cases, both as a prosecutor and as a defense attorney. I am very experienced in divorce and contested child custody law. I think my experience as a judge, prosecutor and defense attorney gives me a unique perspective on the law.
