Will served three years active duty in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman prior to beginning his career in criminal justice. After discharge, he completed an Associate's Degree in police science, a Bachelor of Science Degree in criminal justice, and later a Juris Doctor in Law.

After graduating from law school, Will became extremely versed with criminal law and courtroom procedures and conducted numerous bench and jury trials while working for the Roanoke City Commonwealth's Attorney Office as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney as well as the Pulaski Public Defender's Office as an Assistant Public Defender. 

Today, Will utilizes this extensive knowledge and experience to help individuals in his private practice today.
