Bill Wilson became an attorney to make a difference in the lives of everyday people. Following his service in the United States Army, Mr. Wilson was working as a civilian for the Department of Revenue when he was called for jury duty. With a bird’s eye view of the judicial system in action, Mr. Wilson found his true passion and entered law school.

Law Career

Graduating with honors from the NC Central University School of Law, Mr. Wilson then left his hometown of Apex and moved to Sanford, North Carolina to open a practice in 1978. It wasn’t long before he gained Robert Reives II as a partner in the firm, and for more than 30 years they have built a legal team that changes lives. Mr. Wilson uses his experience, integrity and compassion to put his clients at ease and achieve results that are in their best interest whether they or a loved one have been injured in an automobile or work accident or faced the life shattering loss of a loved one through wrongful death.

Volunteering

Giving back to the community is important to Mr. Wilson and the firm. He has been honored with the Governor’s Volunteer of the Year award, as well as Member of the Year by the Sanford Area Chamber of Commerce. Some of the various local and statewide organizations Mr. Wilson has been called to serve are the NC Community Development Initiative, Central Carolina Community College Board of Trustees, Brick Capital Community Development Corporation and the Kiwanis Club of Lee County. In addition, Mr. Wilson and the firm are active members of the Sanford Chamber of Commerce.

Bottom Line

Many of Mr. Wilson’s clients remain his friends long after their cases are resolved. His motto is to help them understand the law and their rights and responsibilities.
